Xiamen Honflex Electronics Technology Group Inc. was founded in September 2003 by Mr. Li Qiang. Starting as a small workshop-like enterprise with a registered capital of only 1.5 million RMB, the company has grown into a leading enterprise in China's flexible electronics industry. Mr. Li Qiang was introduced to the Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) industry in 2002 and, foreseeing its potential, established the company in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone.
The company initially collaborated with low-end mobile phone manufacturers to secure its first bucket of gold, with sales exceeding 10 million RMB by 2004. A pivotal shift in strategy involved transitioning to serve major brands like Lenovo, BOE, and Tianma. Honflex Electron went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ChiNext board in May 2017, becoming the first listed company in China's FPC industry. In recent years, the company has implemented a "twin-engine" strategy, focusing on both new energy and consumer electronics, and has expanded into areas like green computing power and AI technology.
Honflex Electron operates several specialized factories across China, including in Xiamen, Jingmen, Yingtan, and Suzhou. Its main production base is located in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone (Xiang'an) Industrial Zone.
The company was among the first to establish itself in the Xiang'an Industrial Zone. Its industrial park there, constructed in 2008, houses Xianghai and Xiangyue factories with a combined production scale exceeding 100,000 square meters.
In 2020, the Honflex Chunfeng Technology Park was completed. This park focuses on producing sensors and providing intelligent solutions. It not only meets the company's own capacity expansion needs but also serves as an industrial incubation base, pilot trial base, and manufacturing base for upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain.

The company pioneered the introduction of China's first Roll-to-Roll (RTR) production line from the United States in 2014, significantly improving production efficiency and product yield.
Through years of technical, Honflex has achieved the localization of the entire RTR process equipment, developing many equipment specifications that are now known as the "Honflex Specification" within the industry.
Its double-sided Roll-to-Roll production lines at the Xiamen Xianghai factory are among the most advanced in China.
