As the core component, the optical system is composed of an optical film group, a light guide plate (LGP), a reflector, a light source (LED strip), and structural components. The light guide plate (LGP) is made of high-transmittance materials such as PMMA/ acrylic. Through precisely designed microstructure points or microprism arrays on the surface or inside, it guides and scatters the light entering from the side, making it uniformly emitted from the front surface, thereby transforming a linear light source into a surface light source.
The reflector located at the bottom of the LGP is responsible for reflecting the light that leaks downward back into the system to enhance the efficiency of light utilization. The optical film group at the top usually contains a diffusion plate and a prism plate (brightness enhancement film), which are used to focus the light Angle and increase the brightness of the front.
The edge lighting of the Mobile Phone Screen Backlight Module is designed with LED strips usually located on one side of the LGP to meet the ultra-thin light origin requirements of products such as mobile phones.
By using light enhancement technologies such as microprism reflective films and adopting integrated all-microstructure designed modules, for instance, the new microprism reflective film technology can achieve 1.5 times the axial brightness of traditional systems. Compared with the traditional architecture, the light extraction efficiency is increased by approximately 23.3%, and the central brightness is increased by approximately 20.7%.
